Prayers are requested for the people of Haiti, where an earthquake on January 12 destroyed many buildings and cost many lives.
Haiti, the poorest country in the Western hemisphere, is ill-equipped to handle such destruction. The PCUSA is still contacting its many partners in the country, and has set a $1,000,000 goal for assistance to Haiti. You can find updates on what they are doing to help at the same page on the website, www.pcusa.org/pda.

On behalf of our caring community of spiritual friends - welcome to Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church!
Bradley Hills is a 650 person congregation in Bethesda, Maryland just a few miles from Washington, D.C. We have a strong tradition of worship, music and the arts, programs for children and families, outreach and mission projects and asking hard questions about important issues.
Join us for Sunday Worship using public transportation. Bradley Hills is accessible via the Montgomery County Ride-On Bus 47 from the Bethesda or Rockville Metro Station.
If you would like to help provide direct aid to those in need in Montgomery County, BHPC supports the following groups that provide important direct aid in our area: Bethesda Help, Bethesda Cares, and Interfaith Works.
Sundays are not always my own-- sometimes I have to work and other times I am spending days with my 90 year old Dad. I imagine you have the same challenge of “not enough days” in the week. Last Sunday I was reminded that when it is my choice, I am at Bradley Hills for worship. Was is a particular event in our liturgical calendar? No. It was Ordinary Time-- and very special.
We welcome each person regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity,
nationality, class, ability, sexual orientation, and faith tradition,
who seeks to grow more deeply in his or her relationship with
God and serve others in the Spirit of Jesus Christ
