Children's Ministry Opportunities
Child Care all Sunday morning - -a program of love and nurture by professional care-givers.
10:30am - Concurrent with the 10:30 worship service
- Church School
Engaging, child-friendly opportunities to participate in and learn about the Christian faith are in place for kids from age 3 to grade 5 during the 10:30 worship service. All children begin worship with the families in the Sanctuary, and proceed to Church School after the Word with Children. Children ages 3-5 meet together, as do kindergarteners to 2nd graders, and 3rd to 5th graders. On the first Sunday of each month, kindergarteners through 5th graders remain in worship to share communion with their church family.
ADDITIONAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN
- Worship Workshop
Parents and grade 1 children will have an opportunity to learn about worship; to explore belonging to a community of faith through baptism and communion, and talk about the order of worship and liturgy. Children who complete the workshop receive their personal copy of the Presbyterian (USA) Hymnal.
- Third graders receive the New Revised Standard Version Bible in the fall.
- God's Plan for Growing Up
We offer a Presbyterian Church Human Faith Sexuality class for children grades 2 and 4 and their parents to learn and discuss how we are created " exactly the way God planned for us" and that we are all God's children.
- Summer Bible Music Camp - a one week camp for children in August.
- Children’s music at Bradley Hills will begin on Sunday, October 5. All interested children will meet at 11:40 a.m., after the 10:30 a.m. worship service, in the choir room. This program is designed to teach children hymns and religious songs, which will reinforce sound theology through music. Once a month, children will sing what they have learned during the 10:30 a.m. service. Please contact Kyle Babin, Acting Director of Music, if your children are interested in this program.
- Stewardship - Weekly offering envelopes are available for age 3 through grade 8.
