Juli graduated summa cum laude from the University of Richmond and received her Master’s in Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. Juli served as designated pastor at Irvingwood-Acacia Presbyterian Church in Chicago, IL from 1995-1997. She was Associate Pastor of Riverside Presbyterian Church (1998-2004), a suburban church outside Chicago, IL. Since then she has served as supply pastor in various churches, most recently for Capitol Hill Presbyterian in Washington, DC. She has also received interim pastor training in Montreat, NC.
As an associate and solo pastor Juli honed her skills in administration, pastoral care, preaching and worship leadership, youth ministry and Christian education. Among her passions are creative styles of worship, connecting members of the church family across generations, and theological reflection on contemporary social issues. Juli’s husband Rob serves as vice-president of Sojourners in Washington, D.C., and they and their three children (ages 11, 8, and 4), live in Reston, VA.
