Welcoming Task Force Report

In the Spring of 2004, the Session authorized a Task Force to explore, in consultation with the congregation, how we at Bradley Hills could be a more welcoming congregation to gay and lesbian believers.
The following report was adopted by Session in June of 2005, and all the recommendations were approved. The report includes biblical and theological exploration, medical and psychological understandings of homosexuality, an overview of other church responses to this issue, and a summary of the feelings and opinions solicited from the congregation. Most of all, this report describes the journey of the task force as they were led by the Holy Spirit to become more welcoming to all God's children.
