We love Bradley Hills because it is a community of faith and a space in which we have found worship to be meaningful, comfortable and inspiring. We have made this our church home because young, old and in between are valued, loved and nurtured equally. It is a joyful place and it is very special to our family."

"Choices, choices, choices! I love the variety and quality of choices that the church life at Bradley Hills offers me—from its fellowship to its music for all ages. It even offers an interfaith experience with our fellow residents, the Bethesda Jewish Congregation. But most of all I treasure the ways my faith is enriched, especially by Dr. Andrews, our pastor, who speaks to us out of her own life and faith, constantly connecting that faith to the "everyday" in ways that encompass us all. Bradley Hills—what would I do without you!"

"Bradley Hills has been my church home for 25 years. It is a place where my spirituality in environmental stewardship and federal public service is nourished. Bradley Hills has helped me to understand that people must be healed and in a whole relationship with each other before they can effectively work together to heal the Earth. I am a much more effective Earth healer and public servant because of the Christian care, nurturing, and community I have at Bradley Hills to support my spiritual journey."

"I remember a movie in high school physics showing atoms, and protons and electrons all ping ponging around in a high-speed, cartoonish subatomic whirl. At times my current life resembles that long ago movie. Of course, we are very important subatomic particles with important jobs and important friends and important places to rush off to. My cynicism becomes overwhelming (John Paul Sartre interpreted by Stephen Hawkings?) as I yearn for motive, intent, purpose and reason in my life. I find all of these things and so much more sitting in pew at Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church surrounded by my wife and children—and the grace of a loving and forgiving God.

Sometimes I write down phrases from the Bible (especially Romans and Matthew) and snippets from hymns—all of those words make so much more sense when they are strung together at a Bradley Hills worship service. They are pasted on my car's visor. When I return to the rush hour on I-270 and someone cuts me off, I am no longer a random subatomic particle without intent making rude gestures at the offender. Those words on my visor remind me of who I am—or at least whom I am trying to become. I doubt I'll become that person without God in my life. And I seriously doubt I'll stay well acquainted with God without Bradley Hills in my life."

Welcoming, diverse, tolerant, cerebral, and passionate are all words that describe Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church. This community cares about its members and friends and the surrounding community. It has strong leadership and its diverse programs bring opportunities to us for community service. The worship services welcome participation, and beautiful sacred music is melded into the services as an integral part of the worship. For me, though, the community of individuals and their wonderfully varied faith journeys are what I love the most.

"Beauty is when you are greeted by smiling faces.
Beauty is the sanctuary, flowers, stained glass windows and music filling the air.
Beauty is the diversity of the Congregation and their being there in time of need.
Beauty is the laughter of children on their way to church school.
Beauty is the many mission projects available.
Beauty is the talented staff.
Beauty is the worship of God and Jesus Christ.
All this and more is what we love about Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church."
