Sunday Worship and Education Schedule
 

COMMUNION AND BAPTISM

Communion is normally served the first Sunday of each month.
The Sacrament of Baptism, for children and adults, is celebrated upon request.

8:30am - 9:15am WORSHIP CELEBRATION  (Child care is available for ages birth to age 3)

This worship service is designed for all ages to worship together. The worship service provides an opportunity to explore a blend of music styles, occasional drama, and an informal gethering around the Communion table where spontaneous concerns and celebrations are folded into prayer.   (45 minutes)

9:15am-10:15am EDUCATION FOR YOUTH & ADULTS
(child care available for birth through age 3) 

10:30am - 11:30am  SERVICE FOR THE LORDS DAY
CHURCH SCHOOL FOR AGE 3 - GRADE 5
 (Child care for birth through two)


The liturgical format, styles of music, word with children, prayers, and sermons are more traditional than the 8:30am service, but continue to be warm and inviting. 

Engaging, child-friendly opportunities to participate in and learn about the Christian faith are in place for kids from age 3 to grade 5 during the 10:30 worship service.  All children begin worship with the families in the Sanctuary, and proceed to Church School after the Word with Children.  Children ages 3-5 meet together, as do kindergarteners to 2nd graders, and 3rd to 5th graders.  On the first Sunday of each month, kindergarteners through 5th graders remain in worship to share communion with their church family.

Centering Prayer

For many of us, a disciplined prayer life is not easy. Finding the time and motivation can be challenging. Every Tuesday morning from 8:00am-8:30am, in the Sanctuary, Gail Brown, Coordinator for Spiritual Life, will offer a weekly time for centering prayer. Centering prayer is an ancient form of Christian prayer that has been made available to contemporary Christians by the work of Father Thomas Keating. This method of prayer helps us to simply rest in the presence of God. Come join us in the silence

Daybreak Devotions

Join us for an hour of music, silent meditation, simple communion and a brief message on the second Wednesday of each month from 7:00 - 8:00 AM during the months of September through June and weekly during the Lenten season. Coffee follows for those who are able to stay.

Special Seasonal Services

During Advent, Christmas, Lent and Holy Week special services are offered to celebrate the central stories of our Christian faith.
