Save the Date: Vacation Bible School, for children ages 4 through rising fifth graders, will be held August 21-24 (Monday to Thursday) from 9:00 am to noon. This year, for the first time, we will be partnering with Geneva Presbyterian Church. If you register by June 25, it’s $90/child, and by August 6, it’s $100/child. Click here to register!
Annual Children’s Events
Vacation Bible School | VBS is a week-long summer day camp for children ages 4 – rising 5th grade. It is usually held in August. |
Worship Workshop | One month during the year (generally during the winter) parents and children in second grade will have an opportunity to learn about worship, explore belonging to a community of faith through baptism and communion, and talk about the order of worship and liturgy. Children who complete the Worship Workshop receive their personal copy of the Presbyterian (USA) Hymnal. |
Christmas Pageant | All children attending the 5:00 Christmas Eve Service are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Christmas Pageant as we need many shepherds, sheep, animals and angels. There will be no rehearsals, but children are asked to meet in Covenant Hall at 4:30 p.m. in order to allow time to put on their church costumes. |
Receiving Bibles | Third-graders receive the New Revised Standard Version Bible each spring. |
