Spiritual Groups Open to All

The following groups are open to anyone. There is both a core group of regular attendees and new people attending most meetings. All are welcome. There is no need for advance notice: just show up!

Current Spiritual Groups:

Bible Study

  • Every week (September through June) from 2:00 to 3:00 in the Library

These discussion groups focus on the biblical texts to be used in the upcoming worship schedule.

Men’s Spiritual Fellowship

  • Fourth Thursday of the Month, from 7:00 to 8:15 pm (September through June)
  • Typically in the Lounge (Sometimes at a Local Restaurant)
  • Led by Pastor David Gray

Join David and a group of men for fellowship and discussion over a meal. Typically David teaches or leads a spiritual discussion, and sometimes members lead discussions on topics of their interest and expertise. Evenings include some prayer time, and discussions range from Bible studies and how to draw closer to God, to the federal fiscal crisis and US policy towards Pakistan.  For more information or to let him know you plan to come, contact David Gray. If you need a ride, contact the church office at 301-365-2850 and the deacons will try to arrange it.

Small Groups

  • Groups of 6-12 People Meet Weekly
  • Locations and Times Vary Based on Individual Groups

Approximately twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring, we invite you into fuller reflection and spiritual practice by meeting weekly with 6-12 people to connect in guided conversation, reflection, activity and prayer. You will have an opportunity to connect with members of the Bradley Hills community and reflect on your own practices of Christian spirituality and faith. These Small Groups will enrich your experience of worship, prayer, and connection with one another and with God.
