Music Ministry at Bradley Hills
Making music to the glory of God is a central part of our faith, a core part of Bradley Hills’ identity, and has been practiced by Christians in times both good and bad through the millennia. Bradley Hills’ Music Ministry hopes and plans to cautiously recommence activities with in-person volunteer musicians this coming fall.
To participate in one of the musical ensembles at Bradley Hills, everyone must be vaccinated (unless ineligible, e.g. children under 12). We anticipate requiring mask wearing for the foreseeable future. We anticipate significantly distancing participants. Additionally, we are planning to hold all of our rehearsals in large spaces: the Sanctuary or Covenant Hall. We are closely monitoring the Covid-19 pandemic; our plans may be changed as the public health situation evolves.
We hope you and your family members will consider joining us this fall for fun, fellowship, and, most importantly, soul-moving music!
The Chancel Choir
Click here to listen to our choir singing ‘A New Commandment’ during worship on January 29, 2017.

The Chancel Choir sings each Sunday at the 10:30 am Worship Service from September to May, as well as for special services throughout the church year. It consists of volunteers who are supplemented by a professional quartet of section leaders. Our repertoire includes a wide variety of liturgical music, from English choral anthems and Renaissance polyphony (in Latin) to Gospel music and spirituals. Rehearsals are held on Thursdays, usually from 7:30pm-9:00pm.
Are you interested in joining the Chancel Choir? All adults and high school students who read music are welcome – auditions are not required. To learn more, contact Matthew Robertson at matthew@bradleyhillschurch.org
The Bradley Ringers
The Bradley Ringers are a handbell choir offering music that delights all ages. They offer music several times per year, using a three-octave set of Schulmerich English handbells. They typically play in the balcony where the music rings out over the congregation. The Bradley Ringers typically rehearses once before they play in worship. This is the lowest time commitment of all of the Bradley Hills musical opportunities.
Are you interested in joining the Bradley Ringers? No auditions are required, although an ability to read music is necessary. Prior to each performance during the year, the choir rehearses on three consecutive Thursdays from 6:45-7:30 pm in the Sanctuary.
