August 20, 2023A native of Russia, Natalia Kojanova has a bachelor’s degree in choral conducting from Novosibirsk State Music College and a master’s in Vocal Performance from the University of Minnesota. In the Washington area she sang in The Washington Bach Consort and Third Practice and currently sings in The Washington Master Chorale and The Washington Chorus as a chorus member and a soloist. Natalia previously sang in Dale Warland Singers, VocalEssence Ensemble Singers, Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus, Vocalis Chamber Choir, Virgin Ground, Ensemble of the North, and Bach Cantata Choir. Natalia also participated in multiple recordings of choral music by Orthodox composers with Peter Jermihov and appeared as a soloist in the Chautauqua Institution Concert Series.
