Blue Christmas

Wednesday, December 17
Two Services: 12:00 PM & 7:30 PM

A Service of Wholeness and Healing

Blue Christmas is a beautiful service of reflection that acknowledges the harder aspects of the season for those feeling loss, grief, stress, or sadness.

All are welcome in the sanctuary for prayer, candle lighting, meditation, music, and word. Reflection by Pastor David Gray. Childcare will be provided.

Christmas Brunch and Caroling

December 21 | 11:30 AM in Memorial Hall

After the 10:30 service, we gather in Memorial Hall for a potluck meal. Everyone is welcome to attend! Please bring a main dish, side dish, salad, or dessert to share.

We will sing holiday classics and new favorites. Join us for this warm gathering of food, fellowship, and song. Families and children are most welcome to join in the fun.

Christmas Eve: December 24

Join us either in-person or online for our beautiful Christmas Eve services.

4 pm — Family Service & Children’s Pageant
Children help to tell the Christmas story in this delightful Christmas Eve tradition. No rehearsal needed! Any child is invited to participate. Bring children anytime between 3:40-4:00 pm for costumes.

During the service the angels, shepherds, kings, and sheep will be called to the front of the Sanctuary. Childcare will be provided for the littlest ones.

SHARING THE LIGHT OF CHRIST

6 pm — Candlelight Service
This traditional candlelight service heralds the magic of the season. Our Chancel Choir section leaders, Chancel Players, holiday music, and prayer combine in a beautiful expression of hope and wonder.

The service concludes with the congregation singing “Silent Night” by candlelight.

10 pm — Candlelight Service
Begins at 9:30 pm with a musical prelude.

This beautiful, traditional candlelit service will offer favorite carols and special music by the Chancel Choir and a Brass Quintet, all concluding with the congregation singing “Silent Night” by candlelight.

Lessons & Carols

December 14
8:30 and 10:30 am Worship

Lessons & Carols is a much-loved Bradley Hills’ tradition that features rich carols, poignant lessons, and beautiful singing — all helping to tell the fullness of the Christmas story.

Our Chancel Players read favorite Bible stories (the lessons) that lead up to the birth of the baby Jesus. These stories are interspersed with beautiful music (the carols) that highlight and reflect on the deeper meaning of these lessons.

There will be special music at both services. The 10:30 service will feature the Chancel Choir.
