May 23, 2024“How to Have Conversations with Friends on Difficult Topics”
May 19, 3:00pm to 5:00pm, in Memorial Hall – RSVP Required!
The Inter-Congregational Partnership Committee (ICPC) invites you to an Inter-Congregational Workshop on “How to Have Conversations with Friends About Difficult Topics.” In addition to providing participants with useful tools to navigate our fractured society, we hope the workshop will deepen ties among members of the congregations sharing sacred space at 6601 Bradley Blvd.
The workshop will be held on May 19, 2024 from 3:00-5:00 pm in Memorial Hall at 6601 Bradley Blvd. The workshop will be led by Conflict Resolution Experts, Adina Friedman, associated with Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University, and Hakam Takash, Founding Director of Jus Gentium, a counter extremism consultancy.
Since the workshop will entail one-on-one dialogue and facilitated small group discussions, participation will be limited to the first 50 people who sign up. If there is sufficient interest, another session will be scheduled in the future. Sign ups will be open until Friday, May 10. We will let you know if you will be able to participate in the May 19 session or will be placed on the waiting list for the subsequent session.
For more information, please contact Judy Ozone from BHPC or Evelyn Ganzglass from BJC, or reach out to the Bradley Hills Church Office at (301)365-2850.
