Stewardship 2025
October 22, 2024Sunday, November 17: 10:30 a.m. Interfaith Service (open to all).
Brunch: 11:30 a.m. (ticket required).
All are welcome to join three faith traditions for a special time of worship. 6601 Bradley Hills is a unique worship space. Three faiths — Christianity, Judaism, and Islam — share the same building:
Bethesda Jewish Congregation (BJC)
Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church (BHPC)
Maqaame Ibrahim Islamic Center (MIIC)
Each year, these communities come together to celebrate our common spirit and enjoy each others’ company.
First, we gather together for an Interfaith Service at 10:30 a.m. There will be beautiful music and inspiring messages from the leaders of each faith community. This is a free event and open to the public. Families with children are welcome. Afterwards, we share a delicious communal meal (ticket required).
We also celebrate our unity through an Interfaith Mission event, collecting food donations for Thanksgiving and later assembling them into Thanksgiving baskets (see below).
Join the 6601 Bradley Blvd. faith partners for a truly inspiring demonstration of understanding and mutual respect.

Interfaith Mission
Please join in our interfaith effort to collect Thanksgiving meals for 80 families in our area! Bring the food list (below) with you on your next trip to the grocery store and include one of each of the items to help a family enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. This is done in coordination with the National Center for Children and Families and Feeding Families in Anacostia.
Food Donations are being accepted until Saturday, November 17. There will be an Interfaith Assemble-a-Basket activity as a mission event on Interfaith Sunday, November 17 that is open to all.
If you prefer not to shop, a monetary donation enables us to include grocery store gift cards for each family to purchase a turkey or other perishable items for their meal. You can donate in several ways:
By Check: Monetary donations may be made by check, made payable to Bethesda Jewish Community, Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church, or Maqaame Ibrahim Islamic Center, with “Thanksgiving Drive” in the memo. Mail or hand deliver check to BJC, BHPC, or MIIC.
Online by credit card (via Realm): Choose “Thanksgiving Baskets” in drop down box for “Fund”.

$25 gift cards from Giant. After purchasing cards at Giant, please deliver them to Rosanna Howard at BHPC, the Bethesda Jewish Congregation office, or MIIC.
