September 22 – October 27 | In-person and Zoom.

The time for Fall Small Groups is just around the corner. Small Group sessions will meet for six weeks beginning the week of September 22 and ending the week of October 27 with both in-person and Zoom sessions.

This fall we will be using Howard Thurman’s book, Jesus and the Disinherited. This timeless classic offers us insights on how the teachings of Jesus help us hold on to our integrity and live in love during anxious times.

Being a Discussion Leader is not a heavy lift. Small Group time offers the opportunity for fellowship, while discussing relevant topics. Lesson guides are provided for each session.

Small Groups are available both in-person and on Zoom. Sessions are weekly for six weeks, September 22-October 31. Preferences will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration ends on September 8.

Please indicate your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices in an email to Pastor Denise by September 8. Choices for small group sessions are:

Sundays: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm In-person
Sundays: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm Zoom
Thursdays: 7:00 pm – 8:30 Zoom
Fridays: 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm Zoom
Fridays: 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm In-Person (at BHPC)
Friday:s 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm Zoom

Please purchase your book and plan to read Chapter 1 prior to your first group meeting. The facilitator of your group will contact you around September 15 with additional information.
