John Buchman recently retired after a forty-three and a half year career as a bank regulatory attorney with four law firms, a Federal bank regulator, and, most recently, with E*TRADE, General Electric Capital Corporation, and Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. For 30 years, John has taught banking law, first at the George Washington Law School, and for the past five years at the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law. John previously served as both a Deacon and an Elder at Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church.
