Ken has served in a variety of roles in the nonprofit community.  His expertise is in marketing and business development. During his over 40 years of working with nonprofits he became involved with an organization that was providing volunteers to nursing homes. This path led Ken to working for a local assisted living group of homes where he worked with families to help navigate the long-term care process.  Ken is originally from Elizabeth, New Jersey. He moved to Maryland in 1979.  In 1980, he met his wife Mindy on a blind date. They have 3 adult children; all married and have twin grandsons and a third grandson on the way.  Ken serves on the board of directors of GROWS (Grass Roots Organization Working with Seniors). 

Ken enjoys spending time with his family, attempts to play golf and has now taken to Pickleball.
