February 26-March 25, 5 to 7 p.m.

This year’s Lenten Small Group will be based on Eugenia Anne Gamble’s Bible Study, Love Carved in Stone: A Fresh Look at the Ten Commandments. We will examine the historical and contemporary harm (core wound associated with each commandment) that God intended the commandments to safeguard us against and how it pertains to parenting and raising small humans.

The Family Small Group will meet weekly for five sessions that will provide the opportunity for fellowship with familiar friends, meet new friends, engage in spiritual practices, and participate in stimulating conversation. We will begin with a shared meal at 5 p.m. and break off from the children around 5:30 p.m. for our discussion. The children will remain with childcare to play and have fun!

Each person is responsible for purchasing the book. Books are available for purchase for $11.00 (only one book needed per family), and can be picked up in the church office or from Rosanna Howard.
