October 6 is World Communion Sunday. We are reminded of the importance of our congregation’s connection with Christians around the world.

We will celebrate our global Christian unity and our countries of birth, work, travel, partnership, or interest with decorations, music, liturgy, preaching, communion, and a special offering.

You are invited to wear international dress and to bring a friend to enjoy our services on October 6. (Bradley HIlls Presbyterian Church is located at 6601 Bradley Blvd., Bethesda, MD. Two services: 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.)

There will be a special Day of Service after 10:30 worship to help commemorate this day. Join us in Memorial Hall at 11:30 am to help prepare disaster kits, assemble smart sacks, and participate in our annual coat drive.

Bradley Hills will also collect the Presbyterian USA’s (PCUSA) annual Peace and Global Witness special offering on World Communion Sunday.  This peacemaking offering is used to promote the peace of Christ by addressing systems of injustice.
