What communion elements are given at worship?
At worship on Communion Sundays we offer pre-cubed bread and sealed cups of grape juice as representatives of the sacraments. We also offer a gluten free option. Ask a communion server for the gluten free option when you are at the front of the line.
What’s unique about Presbyterians?
Presbyterians are distinguished by our polity/governance and theology. Our polity is highly representative, with lay people and clergy having balanced/equal voices in the running of the church, and our churches connecting together to form district-sized “Presbyteries” which help make local decisions that impact churches in the area. Our theology honors each journey, celebrates that God has given each of us gifts to strengthen the church, and we glorify and show gratitude to God for God’s loving grace in Jesus Christ.
