September 4, 2026Sara Todd is a native of Worthington, Ohio (a suburb of Columbus). She obtained an undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University prior to receiving her law degree from Northwestern University. She was a commercial real estate lawyer in private practice until she came to the Washington area in 2006 to join the legal department of Fannie Mae, where she supported the multifamily housing division of the company. After she “retired” from Fannie Mae, she worked for Freddie Mac, and now works for the regulator and conservator of both Fannie and Freddie (the Federal Housing Finance Agency.) She and her three large dogs live in the Rock Creek Forest area of Chevy Chase. Her son William is a County Commissioner of Madison County, Montana (which includes Big Sky), and her son Eric is a graduate student at The Ohio State University, pursuing his doctorate in biophysics. She is a member of the BHPC Chancel Choir.
