Tamae has served BHPC as a Deacon, in Education, the Flower Guild and as an Usher since the 1990s. She has worked in scientific and technical leadership roles at Georgetown University, the National Academy of Sciences, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Tamae lives in Gaithersburg, enjoys singing with the Chancel Choir, and remains active in justice and community initiatives with her husband, Andrew.
